Navigate to Facilities in the sidebar and click Add Facility. Enter the facility name, address, timezone, and access hours. After creating the facility, configure billing settings like late fees, grace periods, and proration methods. You can add unlimited facilities under a single StorageFlow account.
Navigate to Reports in the sidebar. StorageFlow offers several report types: revenue reports, occupancy reports, delinquency reports, and more. Select your date range and facility, then click Generate. Reports can be viewed on screen or exported as PDF. You can also schedule recurring reports under Reports > Scheduled Reports.
Autopay automatically charges a tenant's saved payment method on their billing day each month. To enable it, go to a tenant's lease and click Enable Autopay. The tenant must have a valid credit card or bank account on file through Stripe. If a charge fails, StorageFlow retries and notifies the tenant. Tenants can also enable autopay themselves through the tenant portal.
Late fees are configured per facility. Go to Facilities, select your facility, and click Edit. Under Billing Settings, set the late fee type (flat or percentage), amount, and grace period (days after due date before the fee applies). StorageFlow automatically applies late fees when payments are overdue past the grace period.
Go to Settings > Billing and click Connect Stripe Account. You will be redirected to Stripe to either create a new account or connect an existing one. Complete the onboarding process (business verification and bank account details), then you will be redirected back to StorageFlow. All payments will process through your connected Stripe account.
When a payment fails (declined card, insufficient funds, etc.), StorageFlow automatically retries the charge and sends the tenant an email notification. The failed payment is logged in the billing history. If the payment remains unpaid past the grace period, late fees are applied according to your facility's billing settings. Staff is notified of persistent failures.
Yes! Go to Settings > Website to customize your branding, including logo, colors, and facility photos. Your tenant portal inherits these brand settings. Tenants can log in to view their lease details, make payments, enable autopay, and update their contact information — all with your branding.
Go to Settings > Website to access the white-label website builder. Choose a template, upload your logo, set your brand colors, add facility photos, and write descriptions. You can also connect a custom domain under Settings > Custom Domains. Your website includes an online reservation widget that lets prospective tenants browse and reserve units.
Market intelligence is StorageFlow's AI-powered analytics feature that helps you understand your local storage market. It aggregates competitor pricing data, tracks occupancy trends, identifies demand patterns, and suggests optimal pricing for your units. Access it from Property Analysis in the sidebar (requires a Pro or Enterprise subscription).
Navigate to Settings > API Keys and generate a new key. Include it in your requests as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. The API base URL is https://storageflow.vercel.app/api/v1. Available endpoints include facilities, units, customers, leases, payments, and reports. See our full API documentation for details and code examples.
Go to the tenant's current lease and click Transfer. Select the new unit from the available units list. StorageFlow will calculate any prorated charges or credits based on the rate difference and create the transfer automatically. The old unit becomes available and the new unit is marked as occupied.
Go to the tenant's lease and click Move Out. Select the move-out date and StorageFlow will calculate any final charges or credits (prorated rent, outstanding balance, etc.). The unit status changes to "available" after the move-out is processed. You can also schedule future move-outs for leases with end dates.
Yes. StorageFlow uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted data at rest and in transit, row-level security in the database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We also support two-factor authentication for account security.
Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage Subscription. You can switch between Pro and Enterprise plans or cancel your AI analysis add-on. Note that the core StorageFlow platform is free — only the AI analysis feature requires a paid subscription. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
