Setting Up Autopay

How Autopay Works

Autopay automatically charges a tenant's payment method on file each billing cycle.

Enabling Autopay

1. Navigate to the tenant's lease
2. Click Enable Autopay
3. Ensure the tenant has a valid payment method on file (credit card or bank account via Stripe)
4. Select the payment method to use
5. Confirm

How It Works

• On the billing day each month, StorageFlow creates a charge through Stripe
• The tenant receives an email receipt
• If the charge fails, the system retries and notifies the tenant
• Failed charges follow your late fee schedule

Tenant Self-Service

Tenants can also enable autopay themselves through the tenant portal. They log in, navigate to their lease, and toggle autopay on.
